I celebrated my 59th birthday last Friday. I've been doing "birthday countdowns" for the last decade. Yep! December 2012, I announced that I was celebrating the ENTIRE 2013 year! It was my 50th and I intended (and did) to celebrate EVERY month! Talk about an awesome year! Literally, inpromptu get togethers became, "Hey Danielle! This is your birthday party for this month!!

My 50s brought me so many experiences that pushed me to the EDGE (and over) self-imposed limitations. As Year 59 approached, I felt an intensity; an urgency to "level up". My spiritual experience has evolved to "LIVING" what I'd been reading about. The pandemic definitely contributed to my commitment to be authentic. Yet, there's something going on underneath it all.

I don't have a "blueprint" for aging. My "studies" brought me to, "The Secret Science of Numerology: the Hidden Meanings of Numbers and Letters." Whether we know it or not, numbers are vibrations and thus, hold so much meaning for our lives. So, when I read about the significance of the Number 9; I felt it.

"9 is the number of Initiation. No matter how much we learn; we must return to our source in 10; forming the never ending cycle of existence which, at each graduation, begins at the same point on a higher level, ever spiraling upward, 1 is an initiation to a new cycle." (Lawrence, 2001).

Year 59 is my Year of Initiation. I do know this. . ."This is not My Mama's 59!"

Perform you say? Oh, I am going to bring My BEST!!

Remember, I don't have a "blueprint" for aging. I only know that now, more than ever, My Life DEPENDS on My LIVING. . .Authentically.
