No Longer Pretending

Detaching. . .

· process,Transition,transmutation,media,authentic

I laugh when I think about where I was two years ago. I'm sure most of us can do the same thing . . .reflect back on 2020 and see how far we've had to come.

Now, I'm "wishing" that I could have MORE to say. Instead, I am in "process". Just as I was two (2) years ago on the island of Gili Air in Lombok, Indonesia. The only difference is that I am now in Mexico. What remains the same is that I am no longer scurrying for content. I just don't have it in me; nor do I want to go back to the mode of "let's see what I can say to attract more subscribers".

So, last week, I had an interview with Steve Strum from the "Jacksonville Buzz" television show in Jacksonville, Florida. The experience was exactly as I desired: I accepted Steve's LinkedIn request earlier in 2022. He reached out to me about being on his show. I accepted. We were scheduled for March 2022. However, technical difficulties (my interview had to be virtual and this was "lost" in the production notes) pushed us out to May 19, 2022. And that was the best part!

By May 19, 2022 I was "knee deep" in moving away from trying to find where I fit (occupation, location, family, etc). This process is not for the "weak". This process is not superficially saying, "I release my detachment(s) to outcome." It really is "detaching from outcomes."

Anywho, here is the link to last week's show:
